In 1997, our company established a research, development and production base for artificial cornea and ophthalmic products in China Resources Life Science Park, a biological medicine industry base in Daxing District, Beijing. Mihe artificial cornea is made of artificial materials without donor cornea, which is helpful to alleviate the shortage of corneal donors and the low success rate of corneal transplantation in China; The structure design is reasonable, the operation mode is safer, the postoperative complications are less, and the immune rejection that is difficult to overcome in corneal transplantation is also avoided. It has a wide range of indications, and is suitable for patients with binocular corneal blindness who are difficult to succeed in corneal transplantation, including corneal transplantation failure, severe keratoconjunctival scar vascularization caused by chemical injury, thermal burn, explosive injury, eyelid atresia, severe autoimmune diseases, and corneal blindness caused by dry eyes in the final stage.
It is estimated that after the launch of Mihm artificial cornea, 15000 patients will be operated every year, providing a new solution for the blind.
